Personal Training

Members have access to participate in personal training at the Weinstein Center. Please view the application for our personal training rates. To sign up, please return completed application to Member Services.

Employee Wellness

Full-time employees and eligible dependents may purchase sessions at the discounted rate of $20 per session for full-time faculty/staff and their dependents.

Weinstein Center Portal Instructions: 

Be sure to log-in to the portal before making your selections in order to receive the correct pricing. Full-time students and Full-time employees click the orange button on the log-in page and use your UR Net ID and 16 digit password. All other members will use a local account to access the portal. Please contact Member Services at (804) 289-8361 to set-up your account.

Once logged into the portal, click on the multi-visit pass option and select personal training to select the desired personal training package. If you have any questions, please contact Devan Martinez

No Independent Personal Training Allowed

Only individuals employed by the department of Recreation and Wellness may conduct training in any University of Richmond campus facility. Training is defined by any of the following:

  • Leading an individual through a designated workout.
  • Providing one-on-one exercise instruction and education.
  • Prescribing a program for another individual.
  • Verbally or visually promoting a training company.
  • Receiving payment for exercise or sports performance guidance, including payment of guest fee

 Anyone suspected of acting as a trainer by exhibiting any of the above behaviors will be questioned and informed of the departmental policies. Any individual acting as a trainer, as defined above, who is not employed by the department of Recreation and Wellness at the University of Richmond will be asked to discontinue the session immediately. If the individual fails to comply with the request, all membership and guest privileges may be suspended or revoked for the individual(s) in question and client(s) involved.
