OAR offers a wide variety of subsidized trips to full-time faculty/staff, eligible dependents, and students ranging from white water rafting to skiing. Check out our schedule below to see what trips are on the horizon for this semester. 

Custom Outdoor Adventure & Recreation Trips

Want to take your classroom or department on a unique outdoor adventure experience? Let OAR plan a customized trip for your organization! OAR staff will work with you to determine what activity and location will best fit your group’s needs. All logistics, transportation, equipment and instruction are supplied by our OAR staff. Ready to schedule a program? Please read through our Custom Trip Policy for information, and then REQUEST a program today! We look forward to working with your group! 

Weinstein Center Portal

The Weinstein Center Portal is now available for on-line program registration and to purchase massage therapy and personal training sessions. Visit services.recreation.richmond.edu to log-in, make your selections and pay using Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover credit cards.

 Be sure to log-in to the portal before making your selections in order to receive the correct pricing. Full-time students and Full-time employees click the orange button on the log-in page and use your UR Net ID and 16 digit password. All other members will use a local account to access the portal. Please contact Member Services at (804) 289-8361 to set-up your account.

Once logged into the portal, click on the programs option and register for the desired OAR trip. If you have any questions, please contact uroutdooradventure@gmail.com.

Refund Policy

Refunds will be given up to 5-days before date of trip. To cancel your registration and receive a refund for a trip, you must email uroutdooradventure@gmail.com with a completed refund request form 5-days before date of trip.

Cancellation Policy

The Outdoor Adventure Staff reserves the right to make the decision on cancelling any trip due to risk management concerns such as dangerous weather, high water levels, and low participation numbers. If a trip must be cancelled, participants will be notified 24 hours before the trip and will be issued a refund.
