Renewal checks will still be allowed to be dropped in the drop box, but in person services and hours will be unavailable. We will return Monday, January 5th and be available by appointment only until the school year begins.

The Community Membership Waitlist for the Weinstein Center for Recreation is currently paused while we monitor current use and activity for the Fall 2025 semester.

University of Richmond alumni, part-time students, part-time employees, and plus-one memberships are still permitted.

The Weinstein Center for Recreation offers a limited number of paid memberships. Part-time students, part-time employees, plus-one and alumni may join at any time. All other prospective members should contact the Membership Office below to join the waitlist.

Membership Office Hours:

Membership Office is located behind the free weight area on the 1st floor of the Weinstein Center for Recreation. For all paid membership inquiries, please contact wcrmemberships@richmond.edu or call (804) 662-3086. For in-person transactions, please view the schedule below for open walk-in hours, or contact the Membership Office to request an appointment.

Student (Credit)
Part-time individual: $350/year  $29.17/month
Part-time family: $650/year  $54.17/month

Employee
Part-time individual: $350/year  $29.17/month

Alumni
Young alumni (graduated within 10 years): $350/year  $29.17/month
Individual: $500/year  $41.67/month
Family: $850/year  $70.83/month

Community
Individual: $700/year  $58.34/month
50+ years: $400/year  $33.34/month
Family: $1,000/year  $83.34/month

Summer
College Students only: $100/summer

Must show valid University ID. Summer Memberships provide access between May 12, 2025 - August 24, 2025. All summer memberships will expire August 24, 2025 and fees will not be pro-rated. 

Plus One Memberships ($350/year):

Individual membership for someone in the same household as someone who is eligible for free membership (e.g. full-time employee, full-time student).

Family memberships may include two adults and dependents under the age of 24. All must be living in the same household to be eligible for a family membership.

Monthly gym memberships are only available as 12 month contracts, then continue therafter on a month-to-month basis. Monthly memberships require a pro-rate to begin and bill on the 15th of each month.

In support of University Recreation's mission, vision, and core values, the Weinstein Center for Recreation offers financial assistance to students, employees, and alumni who are applying for paid membership.
