Member Services

Please visit our Member Services desk of the Weinstein Center for Recreation for assistance during your visit. We can provide information about all facilities, schedules, programs, and services provided by the University Recreation department. 

The following individuals are eligible for free membership to the Weinstein Center for Recreation:

  • Full-time students
  • Full-time faculty and staff and their families/dependents
  • Retirees and families/dependents
  • 5th-year experience participants (University of Richmond students who graduate with a degree)

Eligible Dependents in Accordance with HR:

  • Dependent children under 24
  • Dependent step-children under 24
  • Spouse

Guest Policy

Guest Fee: $10/day
College Student Guest Fee (must present college ID): $5/day

Weekly (7 consecutive days)
Guest Fee: $50
College Student Guest Fee (must present college ID): $25

Guest must be sponsored and accompanied by a Weinstein Center for Recreation member on each visit. 

VisitUR Wireless Network

NEW! We now have Wi-Fi for campus visitors. Short-term visitors to the University of Richmond campus may connect their Wi-Fi enabled device to the “VisitUR” wireless network for access to the commodity Internet and the public facing of University of Richmond web sites. 

Simply connect to the “VisitUR” wireless network and open a web browser. After being redirected to the logon page, please read the terms and conditions, accept them by checking the appropriate box, and click the “Log In” button.

Weinstein Center Portal  

The Weinstein Center Portal is now available for on-line program registration and to purchase massage therapy and personal training sessions. Visit to log-in, make your selections and pay using Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover credit cards.

Be sure to log-in to the portal before making your selections in order to receive the correct pricing. Full-time students and full-time employees click the orange button on the log-in page and use your UR Net ID and 16 digit password. All other members will use a local account to access the portal. Please contact Member Services at (804) 289-8361 to set-up your account.


Locker rooms and towels are provided for the convenience of all University of Richmond students, faculty, staff, and community members. See Member Services to reserve a locker. Due to the high demand for lockers, participants not using the facility on a regular basis may be asked to relinquish their locker to accommodate others on the waiting list. Daily lockers are available in the men's and women's locker rooms. We ask that you please bring your own lock and remove your belongings after each use.  

Racquetball and Squash Court Reservation

Four racquetball and two squash courts are available for use when the Weinstein Center is open. Reservations are recommended but not required. Call (804) 289-8361 or stop by Member Services to reserve a court. Reservations must be made on the same day as desired play, and individuals are limited to an hour. Courts are available on a first come, first-served basis if not reserved for individuals or special events. 


Free towel service is provided. Clean towels are located on racks in the lower level cardio area near the stairwell. Towel drops are located on the upper and lower levels and in each locker room. Please deposit all dirty towels in a towel drop before exiting the facility.

Facility Access

Member entry access is through the barcode feature in our University Recreation FusionGo App. The app can be downloaded from the Apple App Store or Android App on Google Play.

Once you have successfully downloaded the app, proceed to the Entry ID icon to get set up with your Barcode for access. You will need to log in your credentials every time upon entry in order to access the facility.

Here are the instructions on access to the Barcode feature:

  • Click on the Entry ID icon
    • Full-time students and full-time employees will click the top button on the log-in page and use your UR Net ID and 16 digit password. Once logged in, your barcode will appear.
    • Any member who is not a full-time student or full-time employee: click the second button local account. NOTE-if you already have a username and password that you use to access the portal (, use the same credentials on the app. If you have not yet set up a local account, please contact Member Services at (804) 289-8361 to set-up your username and temporary password.
    • Once logged in, your barcode will appear.
