    Carrie has always been an active person. Her interest in health and fitness began when she joined her first gym at the age of 13, where she was first introduced to personal training. She cites her first personal trainer there as a major influence. Carrie received her certification as an aerobics instructor at age 14 and became the youngest instructor at her local gym. Her passion for fitness continued into college, where she studied exercise sciences and her certification in personal training. Carrie has degrees in exercise sport sciences and advanced nutrition sciences. Since then, she has been an exercise specialist, personal trainer, nutritionist, and aerobics group exercise instructor/director, and a Red Cross authorized provider and certification specialist. Now, Carrie is an adjunct faculty staff at University of Richmond and Reynolds College and runs her own mobile personal training business. Carrie enjoys running, biking, swimming, and competing in various sporting events. Her motto is “Do what you love and love what you do”.

    Other certifications include Zumba, Pilates, Yoga, Step, Spinning, Water Fitness, TRX, Kickboxing, Core Barre, Balletone, etc.
