Wendy earned her B.S. in Health Education from VCU and her M.S. in Sports Administration from Austin Peay State University. Before joining the Recreation and Wellness Department, Wendy served as the Head Athletic Trainer for Women’s Sports at VCU. In addition to her duties with men's and women's soccer, she oversaw the care of each VCU athletic team, focusing on women’s sports. Prior to her appointment at VCU, Wendy enjoyed a successful three-year stint with the semi-professional Richmond Kickers. She worked as the head athletic trainer for the Kickers, supervising and administering treatment, physicals and rehabilitation for the team. In her curent postion, Wendy is responsible for overseeing the operations of Sports Clubs and Risk Management for University Recreation. She is a native of Richmond, Virginia.
