Profile
Jill graduated from Radford University in the Spring of 2019 with a B.S in Recreation, Parks, and Tourism with a concentration in Recreational Therapy. After graduating, she practiced as a Recreational Therapist in the medical field but ultimately knew her passion was to work outdoors again. She made the switch to go back outdoors and she began to lead expeditions all over the United States and Internationally. After a few years of being a Nomad, Jill made her way back to Richmond to spend more time with her family.
In her current role, Manager of Outdoor Adventure and Leadership she is responsible for the planning and implementation of outdoor trips. Jill not only enjoys leading trips but loves using her “Coyote Mentoring Skills” to provide others with the opportunity to form their own connection with nature. She not only has a strong sense of nature connection but is an advocate for inclusivity in the outdoors.
In her free time, you can most likely still find her outside on a wander or on the river. She also has two cats, Poppyseed and Fiona, who make her world.
