Cindy Casey

Cindy graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a B.S. in Rehabilitative Services and completed two years of graduate study with a focus in Pastoral Counseling.  She was previously employed as a Vocational Evaluator, coordinated a Respite Care Program and worked at the Children’s Hospital of Richmond.  Cindy moved on to become a stay-at-home mother for her son and later became a Preschool teacher.  The past two years, Cindy has worked as a Member Services Associate with the Tuckahoe YMCA & John Rolfe YMCA.

In her current position, Cindy is responsible for coordinating the Weinstein Center Member Services and Control Center operations. Provide customer service to members by answering questions and providing information about programs, services, and facility schedules. Assist with supervising, training and evaluating student and temporary/part-time staff. Assist with employee customer service and diversity training programs. 

In her free time, she likes hanging out with her husband, son and their yellow lab “Buddy”.  She hopes to certify Buddy so that he can be a Reading Buddy or a Therapy Dog.  Their happy place is Smith Mountain Lake.
