The Weinstein Center for Recreation will be closed for renovations beginning Sunday, May 10th through Monday, May 25th. The Well-being Center will also be closed.

During this period all faculty, staff, students, dependents, and members will have access to the JCC. Please review this page for information about the JCC, access, and resources while we complete our renovations at the Weinstein Center for Recreation.

When will the Weinstein Center for Recreation be shut down?

The Weinstein Center for Recreation will be closed from Sunday, 5/10 through Monday, 5/25.

Why is the Weinstein Center for Recreation shut down?

The Weinstein Center is closed for some renovations to our building access, lighting, wall graphics, and layout.

Will the Well-being Center also shut down?

The Well-being Center will also be closed during this period.

How do I access the JCC?

To access the JCC faculty, staff, students, dependents, and members will need to present a Temporary Access Card or One Card and a Government Issue ID.

How do i get my temporary access card?

Temporary Access Cards will be available for members to pick up at the Member Services Desk during operating hours beginning April 6thPlease note that a government ID will also need to be presented to access the JCC.

Staff/Faculty/Student ID Cards?

Staff, Faculty, and Students should present their One Card and government ID to access the JCC building.

What are the JCC Hours?

Monday - 5:00am-10:00pm
Tuesday - 5:00am-10:00pm
Wednesday - 5:00am-10:00pm
Thursday - 5:00am-10:00pm
Friday - 5:00am-6:00pm
Saturday - 7:00am-6:00pm
Sunday - 7:00am-6:00pm

Lap Pool Hours:
Monday-Friday - 6:30am-10:00am, 12:00pm-4:00pm
Saturday - 7:30am-5:30pm
Sunday - 7:30am-12:30pm 

Rec Pool Hours:
Monday-Friday - 6:30am-8:30am, 12:00pm-4:00pm
Saturday-Sunday - 7:30am-3:00pm 

Is there Shuttle Transportation?

The Daily Connector will have a JCC stop available on weekdays beginning Monday, May 11th through Friday, May 22nd. The shuttle does not operate on weekends during summer and will not operate on Memorial Day.
The Daily Connector will pick up at UR on the hour and drop off at JCC on the half hour (approximately).

Please note a URID card is required to access the Daily Connector shuttle.

Are my dependents able to use the jcc?

Dependents can use the JCC. Dependents under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

What JCC facilities and programs will be available?

The fitness center (weight and cardio areas), locker rooms, towels and pool are available to our members.
Group Fitness Classes and Babysitting are not available to University of Richmond members.

How long will I have access?

All temporary access cards will expire at the end of the UR shut down period.

Is there a guest policy?

University of Richmond members may bring an adult guest for a $15 fee.
