Weinstein Center for Recreation Facility Update: April 12
We know many of you are anxious and excited to return to campus. We wanted to provide you an update with where the University currently is regarding when you will be allowed back into the Weinstein Center for Recreation and newly opened Well-Being Center.

The University continues to have an abundance of caution, more rigorous than what is recommended by the CDC or mandated by the Governor.  Thus, the University will maintain the current access restrictions until we transition to the green phase of the physical distancing framework; this includes access to the Weinstein Center as well as access to in-person programming (including massage therapy).  We are currently in the orange stage, and are unable to anticipate how quickly we will move toward green. We understand that you are ready to return, and we are ready to return to normal operations!  Our priority remains our students, and our students’ safety; including access to well-being services.  Since we will have limited capacity in all campus buildings until green, we need to ensure that students are the primary users of on-campus buildings.  And, while we know that many of you may be vaccinated, most of our students have not yet been vaccinated.

We continue to offer virtual fitness opportunities, and encourage you to sign up for our fitness distribution listserv to join those classes.

We are happy to answer any specific questions you have, and you may also visit our website for general questions.
