Fitness Class Schedule July 29
|9:00 AM - 9:45 AM||Spinning||Heather||Room 107|
Spinning is a high-intensity class that is sure to get your heart rate up while really working your legs and glutes. The class starts with a brief warm up, includes sprints, climbs, and jumps, and ends with a nice cool down and stretch.
|11:15 AM - 12:15 PM||Power Flow Yoga||Ann Marie||Room 203|
Power Flow is an outstanding intermediate-level vinyasa yoga class that focuses on strengthening your core, increasing flexibility, and steadying your breath to encourage a meditative quality of mind as we flow from one engaging asana (pose) to the next. This class is best suited for students that have previous yoga experience or strong body awareness.
|12:15 PM - 1:00 PM||Advanced TRX||Nadine|
Take your Suspension Training to the extreme. This class will be a bit more challenging by building upon more advanced strength and cardio exercises developed for the TRX system. Goal will be to take fewer breaks so the heart rate stays elevated to give you a tough and highly effective workout.

This gentler, slower paced practice makes it more accessible to people of all sizes, ages, and fitness levels. The class removes any fears or challenges in doing yoga, while it also assists with stress reduction and weight management. It creates an atmosphere of safety and comfort that fosters self-esteem and body awareness.

This class utilizes the TRX RIP Trainer to promote better muscular balance and joint stability and also reduces the risk of injuries sustained in sport and activity. Come and check out a new way to challenge yourself and get the fitness results you are looking for.

The Strong Spider class will focus on developing overall strength and conditioning by utilizing various forms of nontraditional lifts and movements. Exercises will consist of timed intervals on stations with atlas stones, pine logs, prowlers, farmers walk, tire flip etc.

Want to get toned up? This is a class designed in intervals of 10-minutes of spinning and 10-minutes of weight/resistance training and core alternating for the entire class.

Ballet-inspired total body conditioning workout. No prior dancing experience required. The class combines elements of yoga, pilates, ballet, and resistance training for a fun, intense toning class set to fun music. Emphasis on long and lean muscles.

Pilates is a method of exercise and physical movement designed to stretch, strengthen, and balance the body. With systematic practice of specific exercises coupled with focused breathing patterns, Pilates provides you with an all-encompassing workout combining both rejuvenation and relaxation.

Zumba combines high-energy and motivating music with unique moves and combinations that allow the Zumba participants to dance away their worries. It is based on the principle that a workout should be "fun and easy to do," allowing Zumba participants to stick to the Zumba Fitness program and achieve long-term health benefits. Zumba is a "feel-happy" workout that is great for both the body and the mind.
