To perform at their best, people must be healthy. That’s why the Recreation and Wellness Department helps members of the University of Richmond community live healthy, balanced lives through access to outstanding facilities, fitness and wellness programs, intramurals, sport clubs and more.
Recognizing the benefits of sport clubs to our students and to the institution—as well as the rapid growth of sport club programs nationally—the University is now moving forward with plans to increase funding to all clubs and develop a varsity club.
Weinstein Center
The Weinstein Center for Recreation and Wellness is one of the most actively and universally used buildings on the campus. It also is one of only five facilities in the country to receive the 2008 National Intramural Recreational Sports Association Outstanding Sports Facility award.
