Taylor Jewell Hensley
Massage Therapist

Taylor has been a massage therapist since January 2013, and has been working for the University of Richmond since April 2014.

Taylor's mother was a massage therapist and artist when she was growing up, and looking up to her, she experienced the raw essence of the art of massage. She would color in the Anatomy Coloring Book, and while practicing her routines with Taylor, her mother taught her about the techniques she used and the muscles she massaged. She longed for a career that helped heal people, and wanted said career to be something she would be happy doing until her final days; she found it with massage. She has always considered herself a student of the world, and looks forward to learning new modalities to further improve her massages and offer ongoing variety to clients. Taylor believes that through the healing powers of massage and body awareness, everyone has the ability to be better than fine.

She has a B.F.A. in sculpture from Virginia Commonwealth University and completed 729 hours through SPCS for her Massage Therapy Certification.
