Outdoor Facilities

Disc Golf Course

The 18-hole HB Clark signature designed Disc Golf Course at the University of Richmond opened on March 16, 2011. All students, faculty, staff, and the Richmond community are welcome to use this course. 

The course is located on the Westhampton side of campus weaving from the President's House to the WC Tennis Courts, around the lake and back to Alumni Center. The course is approximately 1/2 a mile across campus from the Weinstein Center.

Intramural Fields

Intramural competitions, sport club practices and competitions, and outside groups use this space. In order to find free time it is necessary to consult the Intramural Field schedules posted on the shed.

University of Richmond Intramural fields, Basketball courts and Sand Volleyball court are for use by organized activity and UR students/faculty/staff ONLY.  Organized activity occurring on the Intramural fields, Basketball courts and Sand Volleyball court must be approved and supervised by the Department of Recreation and Wellness.

Outdoor Courts
The outdoor sports complex consists of a sand volleyball pit, two basketball courts, and a picnic area. 

Challenge Course

The Team Odyssey High Ropes Course opened in the spring of 2008. With 2 levels of high ropes challenges combined with low challenges, this facility provides opportunities for team building, experiential education, and leadership training. Richmond College Tennis Courts

There are six lighted and two unlighted hard surface tennis courts. Lights are on an automatic timer. Courts are used on a first-come, first-served basis when not scheduled for practices, competitions, or instructional programs.
