Facility Rental Fees

The University of Richmond recreational facilities are designed to accommodate a wide range of individual and group activities. The Recreation and Wellness department is committed to providing optimal recreational opportunities for students, faculty, staff and alumni of the university. Facility rental fees have been established in response to an increasing demand for use of recreational facilities.

Recreation and Wellness programs and activities will not be charged facility rental fees. All facility requests must be coordinated directly with Recreation and Wellness.

Athletic team meetings, practices, and competitions will not be charged a rental fee. A full-time coach must be present at all times. Facility request must be coordinated directly with Recreation and Wellness. All other events involving outside groups and/or registration fees will be charged rental fees.*

Academic and university events scheduled and approved by the Registrar’s Office and President’s Office will not be charged a rental fee. All other university groups, university sponsored groups, and non-university sponsored groups will be required to pay facility rental fees and must begin the process by completing a Facility Reservation Request Form .

Rates are for facility usage only. If supervision is required, additional staffing rates will apply.

 *The following athletic camps and clinics will not be charged rental fees:
1.    Summer camps using Millhiser Gym and Intramural Fields
2.    Summer Swim Camp use of Pool (two week maximum)
3.    Swim and Dive Team Clinics (three hour maximum per week)
